I am still recovering from how exhausting yet awesome this past weekend was at the 2013 National Reptile Breeders Expo in Daytona, Florida. I volunteered to help out my dear friend Kevin Oppenheimer from
Dr. O's Tie-Dyed Chameleons as he worked his first Daytona expo since starting the company, so I drove up Thursday, helped him pack my car (thank goodness I have a large cross-over!), and we set up for that weekend.
We were absolutely packed nearly the entire weekend, with hundreds of people taking photos of the panther chameleons and asking to hold them. I barely got to walk around the rest of the show! But when I did I took my camera with me. Here are some highlights from the show, starting with our own booth.
And then the rest of the show and some of the animals that caught my eye:

Will he not be in Daytona again this year??
ReplyDeleteDr. O's? No, he will not be going this year as a vendor, I know he's really busy lately with a lot of different projects so he doesn't have the time to take off the several days for the show. Who knows, maybe next year!
DeleteGreat blog I love your good information.
